Copie Double is an ode to sneakiness and childhood antics in class. We follow four rascals who haven’t studied at all when their teacher announces a pop quiz.
With competition at its peak to get the best grade, the only answer for our heroes is to copy off the smartest guy in class. Careful though! The teacher may be snoozing but if he sees them away from their desks he'll send them straight to time-out.
In the 2 minutes of game time, each player will have to get to the smart guy's table to get the most points possible. These points are counted when the player gets back to their desk. The player with the best grade wins the round.
How does one get the best mark in a test? Easy! Just copy off the smartest guy in class. Careful though! You will find a number of things will get in your way. The first issue is that you’re sitting all the way in the back while our class genius is in the front row.
Oh, and there is another issue, you’re not alone in your quest for points! Grab your weapons: stock up on paper balls scattered in the map and throw them to stun your opponents!
Ok, last problem. It’s pretty big. The teacher himself! Be wary of his habit of sleeping during tests because he can suddenly wake up and send you straight to time-out with a 5-point penalty!
A game is played in 3 rounds, each 2 minutes long. That’s good news since anything can change up until the very last second! The player who has gathered the most points (or rather, copied the most from the class genius) wins the game!
For the first time ever, children and adults alike were able to enter the classroom during a playtest session at the “Gaîté Lyrique”! During this demonstration, they discovered the first level : the classroom. The second level sends our four rascals on a class trip to the forest, but children beware, no one is safe from a test, even among trees!
